They are on holiday by 30th Aug… maybe next Paris visit
I love this place!!! Amazing food - don’t miss the biggest burrata on the planet! And the pasta - wow! The roast pork is also a big winner - think crispy skin like bacon and tender inside! You cannot go wrong. Have a bottle of Le Memorie Vite Sardinian wine and YES!! Ask for Danny as he is le mellieur!! Highly recommend.
If you are looking for a traditional restaurant from Sardinia, this is the place to go! The food is absolutely stunning - not only there is a large choice of traditional dishes, but the quality is fantastic! The service is great - if you are a local, be aware they speak more Italian and English than French. The decorations are nice too, with several posters of Monica Bellucci, who is a regular client. I'd recommend booking and coming at lunchtime if possible - it's usually packed for dinner. Of note, booking can only be done by calling their number (no online reservation possible). We loved it, and we will be back!
We lucked onto this place during and unexpected one night stay near Gare du Lyon and what a find it was! Small in that charming way of a French cafe with an amazing menu. It is not inexpensive but the food is worth every Euro. We each had a unique pasta and were swooning over the flavors. Portions are generous, by the way. Our shared salad of fennel and apple with cherry tomatoes, mint, and onion was exquisite and perfectly balanced although it may sound odd. Expensive wine list of Sardinian offerings but there are red and white by-the-glass of a decent house wine. Booking for s probably advisable although the whole neighborhood was quiet on this May Tuesday.
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Had 8 days in Paris. Went there 3 times. Glorious food. The King Crab Salad is highlt recommended. We asked for a red wine and the waiter gave us a bottle I've never heard about before and it too was one of the best wines I ever tasted. Wonderful place.
Sardegna was and still is our favourite Italian restaurant for almost 10 years now. Although they used to be much much better, they are still somewhat consistent in quality. I hope they keep improving and make the best pasta dishes. Order the squid ink pasta, you will walk out with a huge smile ;)
